Can you switch off the said on bt smart hub

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

You can disable both wireless bands, or each on individually, but they both have the same SSID.

The SSID (Service Set IDentifier) is integral to clients being able to log on to WiFi. On the SH2 you can certainly turn the WiFi channels off independently and even change the common SSID, but as far as I can see, you are not able to hide the SSID.
