Best 5ghz wireless channel for gaming ?

now before any of you smart people tell me to use wired i could and i do but now and again i switch to wireless for lag comp benefits on certain hosts [ if you know you know 😉 ] .

Just wondering if the BT Smarthub 2 has a better wireless channel for gaming ? the default is 36 . Also does the 5ghz band have a 80mhz wireless channel like the sky router ?

i found my wireless connection with sky to be much better than BT but ten again there might be a channel for me to be on that i dont know about which is why im asking ?

if you have SKYQ that uses channel 36 so better switching hub to 44/48. you can check channels in use with wifi analyser on mobile

i used to have a sky router but are u saying for me to switch to channel 44/48 on my BT ROUTER ?

also are wireless modes relevant on the BT smart hub 2 ?
im using a ps5 but maybe changing wireless mode may help ?

Only need to change channel in hub if you have SKYQ for tv

The modes do apply and normally for older wifi devices but you can try and if no help back to mode 1
