Hi

I'm looking for replacement for bt smart hub 2 with SQM, cuz I got big problem with latency when gaming/streaming. What modem with WIFI you suggest?

It might be worthwhile telling what your latency issue is! Upgrading to an AX router and having an AX adapter might know off about 1ms on WiFi, but it'll do nothing for a wired connection!

The biggest common issue regards latency is unrealistic expectations!

My son found he had ping times to well over 200ms using gigabit ethernet to the router. Strange thing was this was reported within the game and on various testing sites, but not using pig from a command prompt. We checked most things but found nothing until shutting down another PC resolved the problem - then traced the cause to background updating of my wife's cloud files that no one knew about. Our Internet link is only 68Mb/s with FTTP not available - rural location.

So:

What BB package do you have?

How are you measuring the ping time?

What ping times do you have when not running the game?

What time of day do these ping times occur?

I got 80/20Mbps packege. When i run all ping test I'v got only my pc connected, I'v try it on 2 PC's still same...
Ping when gaming is about 30-40, but It jump to 100/200 and sometimes just disconnecting me from servers. No mater what time I do test, still same results. It even worst when I'm streaming, (update latency is 1000ms+)
Can I use that modem/router instead of smart hub 2.0? It will work?

That device will work on your line but don't expect it to be a magic bullet.
