Hi, we've recently signed up to BT TV Box pro, however, our TV seems to have lost it's 'Smart TV' functionality.

For some reason it can't find the wifi (wireless) network & we're struggling to establish which cables to use & where they go ?

Any advise would be appreciated.

You will either need a cable from your TV to your router, using one of the LAN sockets, or if your TV supports it, connect via WiFi

Hi, the TV doesn't show a wifi option to connect to.
Howevere, we've managed to connect an ethernet cable to TV & back of router & that seems to work now.
Maybe we should just disregard trying to connect by wifi ??

My Apps on my old Smart Sony TV ceased to function a long time ago and the only way of getting some of them back was by resetting the TV which was a pain in the proverbial and anyway they couldn't be downloaded but were fixed.

I ended up buying a Roku device and plugging that into the TV via a spare HDMI socket. That connects easily to my WiFi and is so reliable and much easier to use.
