As @imjolly has said, you may have to setup the printer from its factory default again. The BT Home Hub uses a different IP subnet to the Virgin Media hub, which means that the printer may be remembering the old IP settings, and will not connect. It depends on the make of printer.

Just recently joined BT from Virgin Media for broadband service. Tried to print off an email without success. How do I connect my printer to the new BT service?

did you try to connect printer to wifi SSID from your BT router and then use the wifi password printed on back of hub

if that does not work then probably reset printer and start as if brand new connection for printer

you may find if you go to hub manager and then wireless and disable the 5ghz wifi then connect printer to 2.4ghz wifi and once connected re-enable the 5ghz wifi
