MAC randomisation started as an Apple feature. Then later Android versions introduced it, and about the same time Windows did.

Its inconvenient and does nothing to improve security, and also stops many parental and access controls from working.

I cannot give any specific places to look for the setting, as it depends on the device, but the advanced wireless settings is a good starting place.

The MAC address would give the option of randomised MAC, or device MAC. Its the device MAC you need to select. Its specific to each individual wireless network, so just do it on your own.

have you tried changing the wifi channels in your hub to see if that helps. try using a wifi analyser on your phone to see the networks near you and the channels which are being used and then change your channels to a free or less congested channel

Have you tried a factory reset of the BT Home Hub?

https://www.bt.com/help/broadband/how-do-i-reset-my-bt-hub-to-its-factory-settings

Connection issues can be caused by the home hub running out of internal connections. A normal restart does not fix that.

Was it a full factory reset, by pressing the recessed button on the home hub for at least 20 seconds?

Follow the instructions on the link I posted. The settings are stored in a non-volatile user file which can only be cleared out with a full factory reset, which then restores the file to default and frees up all of the entries. This is an unfortunate "feature (bug)" of all of the BT home hubs.

Bear in mind that connected devices that use MAC randomisation (private addressing) enabled, are likely to cause the problem to re-occur in the future, so its best to disable that feature on devices connected to your home network.
