Either solution will provide that.

The only reason to use a router is to repurpose a device you already own as a WAP. If a purchase is necessary, don't buy a router. If you need WiFi and Ethernet, buy a WAP, if you only need Ethernet connections a simple Ethernet switch will suffice.

A simple search of the forum would have revealed that you connect the 2 hubs LAN port to LAN port via Ethernet .

Give the second hub an IP address outside of the DHCP range of the first hub and turn off it's DHCP server.

You can not have two routers on the same connection without changing settings in the routers.

You would be far better to buy a wireless access point (WAP) which is specifically designed to give a wireless connection and depending on what WAP you buy it will also give you an Ethernet connection. The WAPs are more or less just plug and play.

Thank you for your reply.

The reason I want a router in the garden office is to allow me to have two pc's and a printer connected to the internet.

If the devices that you want to connect to the Internet do not need to be connected by wireless you could just buy a 5 port Ethernet switch for about £10 and just plug the Ethernet cable that you are running to the garden office into the Ethernet Switch then connect your PCs and Printer to the Ethernet switch.

If you do need a wireless connection the previous answers regarding either the WAP or the Smarthub would work.
