We have the BT Smart Hub 2 at home, and for some reason, over the last couple of months, it seems unable to co-operate with my step son’s Xbox Series X. He’s had the Xbox over a year now, but for some reason, recently it’s stopped connecting.

I complained to BT as the service/speeds was overall pretty poor in the upstairs of our house and we had our service upgraded to full fibre.

I was hoping this would fix the issue, but it seems it hasn’t at all. He’s still unable to game.

has anyone found any solutions to this? Or am I going to have to buy a third party router to run?

Yes I’ve had the same issue, since the software update in December I’ve had horrendous issues with my Xbox connecting and online gameplay, I’ve tried every setting and also had a BT engineer out and nothing has worked.

ive ordered a new router that has QOS etc which is coming tomorrow so i will let you know if that solves the issue
