    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My smart TV was connected to the Hub2 using wifi, after a house rewire i have a LAN cable, i have connected to TV and to the back of the hub but it will not work, TV says LAN not connected. LAN cable is OK, so how do I connect it to the Smart Hub2. When i enter the hub manager, i can see the TV, but it will not connect. I factory reset the TV and tried to connect it, no joy.&amp;nbsp; frustrated now, hope you guys can help&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ian&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you're connected to LAN port 4 it may be configured as a WAN port, so try another.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Otherwise you may need to manually change the TV's network settings to ethernet.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, thanks for the reply, LAN is connected to the 2nd port, i have tried the tv "easy setup" in the LAN directory, "no connection".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Expert setup starts asking for IP addresses and all sorts. I assumed it would plug and play&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You want the TV set to DHCP or&amp;nbsp; automatic, depending on how it's menu is worded.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For expert settings try:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;IP: 192.168.1.1&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Subnet: 255.255.255.0&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Gateway: 192.168.1.254&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;If still no joy then make a note of your TV's picture settings &amp;amp; factory reset it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Last resort would be a factory reset of the Hub, but if you have DV then backup your contacts first.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
