Hi,

Is there any possible way to connect a BT Smart Hub 2 to a non-openreach modem while not having a FTTP service? I have copper broadband and use a modem to connect to my third party router as that suits my needs better. I have two rj45 ports to connect to a router so I'm wondering if I can hook up my bt hub to the spare second port?

Basically, the end goal is to carry on using my own router etc but still being able to use my bt digital voice landline. (like having the bt hub somehow connected and using it dedicated to digital voice)

Won't work.

You can't connect 2 routers to one line.
