Complete Wi-Fi ethernet set up

Struggling to find this exact question with an answer while browsing the forums.

I have just had fibre internet set up in my house.

The router is downstairs however I need a wired ethernet set-up upstairs in my office.

I looked at complete wifi as an option however before I spend the money on it I'm hoping I can get this question answered.

Can I connect the Wi-Fi disc to the main hub via WPS, and then run an ethernet cable from the disc to my PC?

Yes, or alternatively you could use powerline adapters.
