BT Smart Hub 2 change to modem only

I want to set up an ORBI router and extender, I understand I have to set my BT Smart Hub 2 into a Modem mode

The instructions i have tell me to

On Hub Manager go to

Advanced settings
Broadband
Routing
Enable Bridging

But there is no word ROUTING to click on??????

There is no bridge mode on the residential Smart Hub2.

Ok, thanks for that, how do i connect an Orbi mesh system to the Hub 2??

Can't be done on the home version. (I believe the business Smart Hub has a bridge mode).

It should be possible to use the Orbi in place of the Smart Hub but just be aware that if you have Digital Voice, for the phone, it has to go through the Smart Hub 2. It's possible to set the two up in series so that the Smart Hub passes everything but the phone to the Orbi but it is not a simple set up.

The Orbi does not have a phone connection point so must connect via ethernet cable. ??

Can you connect up a Business smart Hub 2 to a residential house?? in place of residential one allowing me to put it into bridging mode??

BT business router does not work with digital voice

Presumably you don't have full fibre.

Yes, you can utilise the business hub on a residential line, but be aware you won't have telephony capability when you move to Digital Voice if you do.
