BT suggested I have a new home hub and they sent me a replacement. Can I use my old password on their new home hub they sent to me. The thought of reestablishing connections to all my smart devices is daunting. They did do a remote reset and the issue seems resolved so I’m wondering if a replacement is really worthwhile. Any advice please

you can change the new hub SSID and wifi password to that of the existing BT hub and the wifi devices should connected automatically. you can make change with ethernet cable prior to disconnecting exiting hub as internet connection is not needed to make this change
