Er, sometimes the instructions get lost in translation! All you need to do is connect a single network port on the new switch to one of the LAN ports on the router and the other network ports on the new switch will work very similarly to the remaining LAN ports on the router.

Try it for yourself to see - you are not going to break anything!

Help ! My Smart Hub 2 has 3 LAN ethernet ports and 1 WAN port. I need more LAN ethernet ports and I've bought a TP Link switch to do this. It says that I have to run the internet feed through the TP Link but that is through an ADSL cable from the Openreach box and not compatible with the ethernet port on the switch.

My technical knowledge is limited, can anyone advise a fix please?
