Recommended modems for FTTC?

Hello! Are there any other modems compatible with BT apart from the Vigor 130? Looking for a replacement because I am having several issues and I believe it might be the modem and not my router or the line itself.

Huawei HG612, oldie but still a goodie. Plenty on eBay, don't pay extra for an unlocked one. It is unnecessary and trivial to accomplish in any case if required.

Hi @licquorice do you know if the normal bt smart hub 2 psu works with the huawei modem?Bt smart hub 2 plug

Sorry, I don't know but I very much doubt it as the SH2 PSU is renowned as having a completely non standard plug size.

@Anthony813 - Plusnet Hub Two's support Bridge mode (effectively turning them into a 'dumb' modem) and the PSU connector from a Smart Hub 2 would fit it.
