Network set up

I now have BT Fibre 900 connected to my house through Openreach. I am looking for recommendations for optimising the internal network and any additional products if required

Currently I have the Halo set up installed (SH2 + Wi Fi disc) some people have recommended an additional Mesh network, Powerlinks etc while others have said stick with my current BT set up and add another disc if required. My current download speeds are way better than they used to be (I live in a village in NE Scotland), before FTTP I was lucky to get 22mbs dl now 170/270 mbs dl depending where i am in the house. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have to keep the SH2 as I have 3 DV phones that will only connect to the SH2

What doesn't work currently with your existing setup?

What are your needs (not wants)?

Just use what you have until you discover a problem with it.

You do not say how you have tested the speeds, but if using WiFi they will generally be much slower and more variable than using wired connections.
