      <title>Outblund push notifications being blocked</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have fttp broadband, and i also have an intercom system connected to the wifi. This does outbound google push notifications . It stopped working over a week ago, when no changes had been made on the network. I wiresharked it and can see its getting blocked somewhere. &amp;nbsp;I connected the intercom to a hotspot and the notifications work fine. &amp;nbsp;So, i did a factory reset of my smarthub and then notifications worked for about 36 hours. Now they have stopped working again. Any ideas? My suspicion is some sort of bt update on the router.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Update - I did another factory reset and its working again.&amp;nbsp; So I suspect its either BT pushing config out, or a traffic shaping issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;More likely an IP address issue for some odd reason. Every time you reset you will be getting a different IP address.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Next time it stops working - I'll try assigning it a new IP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think you might be right tho - but what that could&amp;nbsp; be, who knows.&amp;nbsp; Something at the router or BT end of things.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can't assign a new IP but you can check if it has changed.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The interesting thing on that is that when it wasnt working, I&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Connected my laptop to the same wifi&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;created a hotspot on my laptop&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Connected the intercom to the laptop&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then push notifications worked, whilst the intercom was connected to my laptop's hotspot.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All the time, the routers IP would of course had stayed the same.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Weird.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Interesting thread&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a number of IP cameras at home. Push notifications are turned&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;on for cameras facing the entrance. They have worked seamlessly for many months even when I added additional cameras.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i recently added a BT Whole Home WiFi system to my router, turned off the WiFi on the router and set the Whole Home WiFi to my original SSID and all devices connected at once. My only problem is that the push notifications no longer come through from the cameras and one them is a different brand and it’s affected too!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions as to the cause?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Found the cause to be due to phone apps for both services updated on the same day. Nothing to do with my Whole Home WiFi addon</description>
