Terrible performance on reddit

Hello,

Within the last few days I've noticed reddit posts are loading very slowly. This applies mainly to images and videos, with some images taking between 4 - 20 seconds to load.

I have a 900mb package which has been working flawlessly up until now.

After connecting to my work VPN, Reddit performs just fine - likewise if I switch to my mobile data, everthing is fine which makes me think something is going on between BT and reddit. This issue is on all devices irrespective if connected by wifi or wired.

I haven't noticed issues with any other sites, HD youtube videos are loading fine. Speedtest results seem fine, latency seems fine.

Is there some sort of caching at BTs end that might be broken?

This seems to be intermittent, working fine one moment and then not the next. As an example see the curl response times for a single pixel image below:

I'm having the same problem at the moment, images and videos on Reddit take a long time to load or just fail to load. Other sites and services are working okay as far as I've seen. If I switch the same device to a different network (mobile or other WiFi) then there's no problem, so it appears to be an issue with the BT network.
