Hi All

I am reviewing all of the devices connected to my hub and discs and trying to name them so I know what each is.

There is one that shows up as wlan0. I have accounted for every other device I can think of thats in my home that is connected to the wifi except this one.

Any ideas. I have tried going to the IP address on by browser, that doesnt work. AngryIP scan doesnt show any info either.

Is this the modem (I have full fibre 500) or something else?

I wouldn't think it would be the hub, I would give customer care a call who may be able to help identify it. It could be an old device which isn't really connected any more, you would need to factory reset the hub to get rid of it from the list if that's the case

WLAN is “wireless local area network”. It suggests it’s you own wireless network and probably the link between the discs.

Wlan0 will be a wireless device on your network. I had similar ones appear and to identify them I copied the MAC address into an online MAC address finder. I think mine turned out to be Blink devices or maybe a Teckin device.

Thank you. I didnt know MAC address websites existed. Looked up the MAC and found it was by smart bulb.
