Hi all

Currently in the process of moving home. My current setup is a TP Link VR2800 modem/router connecting into my line of approximately 33mb speed

The new property will have 500mb speed and will therefore have an open reach modem. The question is, if I set the VR2800 into router mode, will it work ok? I won’t have a phone connected, so that won’t be an issue to me

If not, can anyone suggest something, I’d rather not use the standard BT delivered one

You tplink should work without problem set to router mode

Just connect the ONT (optical modem) to the WAN port of the TP Link.
