    <description>&lt;P&gt;It's an urban myth, mate.&amp;nbsp; The SSID can still be obtained easily with the right tools, so you don't gain anything security-wise and potentially it can introduce a load of other problems.&amp;nbsp; What is useful is changing the default SSID so the type of equipment you're using is not quite so obvious.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Hiding SSID</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi.&amp;nbsp; I have the BT hub that has the large circular light with the logo in the middle (not sure of that's important).&amp;nbsp; I want to turn off SSID and not transmit the network name.&amp;nbsp; I cannot see anywhere on hub manager where I can do that.&amp;nbsp; I've looked under 'Wireless'&amp;nbsp; and I've looked under 'advanced settings' but I just don't see how to turn that off.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Can you please point me how to do that please ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
