Good Afternoon, I am looking for an alternative router that will have "by device" logs to see where everyone in the house is accessing. We have digital voice so I understand the SH2 needs to be the first device in the network but what router can I connect to it that will give me the feature I need?

Thanks in advance

Dave

You won't find a router that will do that, the router will have no knowledge of sites being accessed.

If you want to snoop on where your house hold is accessing you will will need to access their browser history.

If they have any sense though they will have set the browser to clear their history when they stop using the browser and have a passkey on their device to prevent unauthorised access.

The Traffic Analyzer built into ASUS routers can track which sites are visited by a device.

This interactive demo will give you an idea of what it can do.

https://demoui.asus.com/TrafficAnalyzer_Statistic.asp

The fact that you can do this with an Asus router does not mean you should! The problem is that you'll find you are touching massively more web addresses/sites than you realise, making the exercise pointless. Using a different set of logs from my own router, I can see that in the last 24 hour period 120,000 DNS requests have been made!

You were previously given advice on how to snoop on your house hold. Did it not work for you?
