I recently got a BT smart hub 2 box, Plugged it in connected to it and it worked great, About 1 week later the box started flashing orange so I switched it on and off went to bed the day it was fine for about 2 weeks then one night it starts flashing orange again and wifi dosnt work, I done factory reset, pulled the plug, switched it on and off multiple times, logged in to the hub manger to see if anything on that helped nothing for 2 days so I gave up then it randomly starts working again a few days later and worked great for 2 weeks now for no reason it stopped working again and I’m stuck with the orange flashing light, any ideas?

It could be a faulty Smarthub2.

Call BT 0330.1234.150 and report a fault and they will send out a new hub to try.

According to the BT-SmartHub-2-Userguide-Self-Install.pdf (if I use a link my post will be deleted) a flashing orange light on the Smart Hub 2 indicates that it's attempting to connect to the internet! So you may have a issue either on the connection to your property, or with the cable plugged into the router.

Using the guide, you can still log into the router at address 192.168.1.254 and you'll find some diagnostics in there that may help. Failing that, you'll need to call BT support and have them perform a check on connection.
