I am on BT 500 with an SH2. My speeds are 500 ethernet and 225 wireless. What benefits would I get from purchasing an EE router on Ebay?

Some here will say probably not much benefit.

If you were to Google what is a WiFi6 router, it’ll tell you far better than a bunch of words here would.

An EE router will cost you £20 new on eBay. You could purchase one and see for yourself whether it gives you any benefit over the SH2.

Your devices need to be WiFi 6 capable to get the full benefit from wifi6 router. Older WiFi 5 devices will still work perfectly well with wifi6 router just not get full benefits
