    <description>If the hub light is pink (purple?) and flashing, it means that that the cable (copper for FTTC, fibre for FTTP) has become disconnected or severed somewhere - more likely outside your house.&lt;BR /&gt;As licquorice suggests, you need to report this as a fault to BT.       <title>Sudden lose of connection</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My hub's light signal has randomly turned orange and I lost connection to the Internet. After a few attempts of checking cables and restarting the hub, the light remained pink and kept on blinking. I believe there are no issues with the cables neither the hub. Any solutions?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
