Do it physically with the recessed button at the rear of the hub rather than via the GUI. Press it for about 20 seconds until the lights flash.

I have a Home Hub 2 with an Extender disc. I work upstairs, and have 2 computers which both connect to the disc. I am doing development where one computer runas an api process and the other runs a web front end. Obviously the coputer with the fornt end needs to connect to the one running th apoi. I also use a package called Synergy which uses the networkj to allow the mouse and keyboard on one computer to contorl the other. this setup has been working fine for 3 years.

Recently (the last 6 - 8 weeks) the computers have been losding the connectivity from time to time. At that point a ping from one machine to the other stops working. This may last for a minute or two or longer. When the machines are not talking to each other they can both access the web (via the disc and hub) with no problems. If I switch off the disc things start working again (but slowly and a bit unreliably). Usually all ok again for a while when I dwitch the dicsc back on again.

It seems there may be somehting up with the disc but BT and OpenReach both say they cannot help as it is a local neworking problem - they are only interested if broadband is not working. Despite that fact that this is all thier equipment supplied and i am paying a fortune for Halo as well.
