Orange flashing ring/Orange Solid ring

Good afternoon,

I have just taken delivery of my Smart Hub (3). I don't expect to have a connection until Monday, but I thought I would plug things in to check it's all working.

The leaflet says that it'll flash orange when it's starting up and connecting. It also says it'll show solid orange when "your hub is working but isn't connected to the internet". Which is mostly what I wanted to test. And then says "check your broadband activation date".

I was wondering if this is normal, that it just flashes for hours rather than goes solid orange.

Yes. Flashing orange is attempting to connect. Solid orange is connected but not authenticated. Exactly what you'd expect if you are not activated yet.
