When I go to hub manager 192.168.1.254 on my PC, click on advanced settings and enter admin password, then "my network" I see a list of devices either connected or not connected.

There are a couple of devices that I don't recognise so I have deleted these in the hub manager.

My question is....... the "My BT" app used to mirror exactly what I could see in the hub manager , why has this changed?

Hi @andreaferns120472,

A lot of mystery devices turn out to be old phones, smart speakers, TVs, Fire Sticks, Sky boxes or devices using a randomised MAC address. Modern Apple and Android devices can change their Wi-Fi identifier, making them appear as multiple devices over time.

The My BT app has changed over time and now focuses more on managing your broadband service, Wi-Fi controls and connected devices, rather than providing a direct one-to-one copy of every entry held within the hub's local device table.

If you'd like to discuss more in depth about devices that have connected to your router, you can give us a call and speak to a customer service guide who can get access to your account.
