can I search web mail for a message by enclosing an object by punctuation marks..ie "Full Fact"

Naturally, I have!. The question was whether the facility was available on BT webmail and if so WHAT punctuation marks & how the search format should be compiled.

You never said that and you have now asked a different question.

You just search on the word or phrase that you want to find. No special formating needed.

You will no doubt find that the search function is very poor.
