I've been a BT phone/broadband customer for over 20 years, with the same email address.

This evening I logged into My BT to read a renewal offer, and now I can't get back into my email. Using the 'email' button on the top right of the menu bar I get a screen cycling between the BT logo and login fields, but I can't enter anything into the login boxes so it just keeps cycling.

I have a bookmark on my browser bar and that just loads the same cycling screen. I am still logged into My BT and wasted a lot of time with their online 'help' agent who can't suggest anything. They say my email account is not linked to my BT account??? Is there any way I can log into a freestanding BT email account, i.e. not via bt.com?

I am using webmail on a desktop computer, Windows 11 and Chrome. Any ideas?

Yes, done all the clearing. Didn't make any difference. Solved it by creating a BT 'service account' which is independent of my usual BT account. This is what I get, none of my usual BT products appear except email. No idea!
