Is it possible to recover a recently/accidentally deleted recording on a BT TV Pro box?

If it’s is deleted that recording is no longer available. there is no recycle bin option,

there is a Confirm delete setting in Settings > recordings that can give some protection against initial wrong key presses of the remote.

have you tried the Search option to see if the programme is available on either On Demand or is scheduled to be broadcast again (On Now & Later)

Thanks. I have tried searching for it, it's not available on demand or schedule for another broadcast.

I will update my settings to confirm deletions.

Sky box has a recover recently deleted recordings option, perhaps something BT should look at for a future update?

Well it was suggested back in 2012 yes nearly 10 years ago
