Hello

I have ordered a BT TV PRO SET TOP BOX AND RECORDER from amazon and it is coming on Monday

Will the freeview channels and catch up tv work via any router and broadband, or does it need to be a BT Router and BT broadband ?

If I was to use Netflix etc would this need a BT Router and BT Broadband ?

I don't think you have ordered what you think you might have done.

The Pro box is not sold retail as it's only provided - legitimately - on a BT subscription.

Other Youview boxes are available though.

To answer your question though it shouldn't matter who your broadband provider is or what router you use.
