I'm new t BT TV....

My remote doesn't have a "settings" button, but on-line data says go to "Settings" to change things like timers, my TV switches off when nobody changes anything for a while.

Also, I don't ever get a button on my iMac when trawling for this stuff, to ask questions on-line.... anyone have any idea?

You need to use the 'Home' button, see page 4 of the guide

Sorry, but where is the guide, I've tried every button on my remote and under Home there is also no access to "Settings".
