    <description>&lt;P&gt;Due to having had various problems I have been advised by BT to perform the above before they will send out an engineer. Other than losing my recordings is their any issues with doing this? Is it basically going to return the box to how it arrived when new?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Sorry to see you've been having problems.&amp;nbsp; Resetting the box to factory settings will remove saved recordings and return the box to how it was when you received it.&lt;/P&gt;
