BT Box Ethernet connection

Hello

i have BT box pro connected to smart hub via Ethernet. However it seems to disconnect from the internet quite regularly and therefore the apps and content will say ‘not available’ on the menus.
It’s an Ethernet direct connection so I would have expected a good connection. Note that when this happens all the other devices in my house carry on working so it can’t be the internet going down. Unplugged and plugging Ethernet cable seems to fix the errors
Any tips to keep a solid connection between Box and Hub?
Thanks

If all other devices are OK then it points to a problem with the cable or pro box, try the advice already given and if that doesn't work then try the troubleshooting steps outlined at How do I reset my BT TV box? | BT Help

Unfortunately this problem persisted for me. I changed cable, reset box etc.

BT sent me a new box with no fuss hopefully the sorts the issue.
