Pair a new Bluetooth remote

I have searched for the answer to this without success.

My puppy, bless its little cotton socks, chewed my Bluetooth remote 🤦🏻‍♂️. I have purchased a new one but I cannot for the life of me find any information on how to pair it to my box.

Any help would be appreciated 👍🏻

Mine is playing up, it stopped doing the TV volume, and was still controlling the box, so I tried the Home and 9 to reset and Home and 7 to re-pair and now it’s not doing anything on either? The tiny led flashes up by the power button when buttons are pressed but no respond from the box itself. Unplugged box from mains for a min, removed remote batteries for a min, powered back up and put batteries back in, still nothing.

Replying to myself, but hey ho.

Sorted with some new batteries. Despite little light flashing on the remote clearly not quite enough juice in them to re-pair.

All good now and paired fine and also working for TV volume.
