Hi, getting issue with bt sport on the TV box giving error code BTP-15000, called tech today who advised me bt sport won't work unless I use the bt home hub with the box, currently using a nest WiFi connection, TV box is hardwired in. Is there any way of sorting this keeping current WiFi set up?

So no, a third party router isn't prohibited but it does need the right support.
