BT Pro Box - Wifi Freeview Channels not working

Hi All,

I purchased a BT TV Box Pro outside of the BT TV subscription. I thought i'd be able to get The freeview channels via WiFi, but now I believe I have been silly, as this is only available when you subscribe to BT TV.

Can I get BT TV without them sending me another box? Is it still the same cost?

BT lend you the box, there is no system for you to have the service without them sending you the box.

Sell your box on?

You should also be able to use it as a second box if you want / need one

Yea, it appears to work fine and as expected with a TV Ariel. But without and just on WiFi, i cant get any channels at all, it asks me to subscribe to BT TV.

Which makes sense now, but i didnt think of that before hand. I was trying to avoid needing to run a cable around the room.
