Unfortunately this does not work. If I choose 'subscribed' I still see a lot of Now TV channels I am not subscribed and if I click on any of them I am asked to subscribe. That feeling again I am paying for a beta version product.

@Clinton11 I kinda get the feeling that Paramount is tied to a commercial arrangement with Sky which blocks them going on any other Pay TV networks for the first year. This would also explain the lack of content and 4K HDR. Especially on their movies because some stuff pops up on Sky Cinema still. Once this deal expires, I'd imagine it popping up on Youview and other platforms and they'll mysteriously solve their 4K HDR technical issue. Discovery+ had a similar lock out but after 12 months, it popped up on Roku, Firesticks and as a Prime Channel

I suspect the most interesting thing that will happen to BT TV in 2023 is it being renamed EE TV, 2 years after EE TV closed.

I got Paramount+ at launch as I have Sky Cinema on Q, but I rarely watch it on the box, most of my app viewing is done on my Apple TV 4K as the apps (excluding Netflix), are all part of the universal search and can be added to my watch list.

I don't think there are any rights issues or Sky exclusive deal in place because I could watch content immediately on my Apple TV and iOS devices at launch, but it is HD and 5.1 only on any device in the UK as far as I have seen.

Seems to be a technical decision for some reason as 4K UHD, HDR, Dolby Vision and Atmos is available on certain titles on the US version and the Apple TV 4K is a supported device, so would be able to show it if enabled.

Whenever or however you get it (if you do), Yellowstone is highly recommended.

For me I'd like to see the bugs fixed first.

5.1 issue

Netflix search added back

Dolby vision support via Netflix and prime (we have the hardware so why not use it?)

ITVX added

More tuners in ip mode

Then additionally although not important

Discovery plus app added

Discovery suite of channels added via iptv (this includes, turbo, animal planet, tlc etc)

Personally access to more free to air channels that aren't on freeview

More of the freeview in iptv mode

Dream wishlist

Disney+ added

Paramount+ added

Deal struck with sky to offer ultra hd (4k) content. Doesn't matter if cinema / entertainment is via the bt player, sport could be added via ip channels or streams using a hidden app and pressing red (or green) to activate it much like bt sport does. (virgin media offer entertainment and cinema via on demand for an extra fee)

But I know that's just a wishlist, nothing more. I'm happy with the service so far.

Apple tv are a funny bunch.

No one else seems to have it except Google TV, skyq, and apple themselves.

I can't see it appearing anytime soon. Would be good however.

I suppose we will end up with too many streaming apps.

I noticed talk talks new hub box is essentially a Google TV box with the youview app on it... They will certainly get apple tv+ as that setup is the same as the Sony TV. But don't try it on bt it won't work. You'll need to stay with the bt box Pro.

One feature I really would like to see is the option to clearly differentiate between the TV channels I am subscribed and not subscribed to on the BT Box EPG. Without it I feel I am using a beta version product. This feature is present on all other providers TV boxes I used so far (Sky, VM, etc.).
