set top box not responding to volume controls from remote

As header. All other functions are working perfectly. But Ive got no sound and the volume up/down/mute are doing nothing. The blue light on end of remote lights up when I press them but nothing happens at the set top box.

Have you tried changing the batteries in the remote?

Which box have you got?

Typically those functions on the remote actually control the TV's volume etc if you've paired the remote to the TV otherwise I think they do nothing.

If you don't have the Pro box then when you hold done the AD button (bottom left on the remote) then using the volume up/down then controls the volume output from the box, this should always be 100%.

I have this same issue and have used the AD button and volume can be controlled but the mute button is still not working. Any ideas?
