ITV HUB/ALL 4 not HD on BT pro box.

Good afternoon,

When I stream ITV Hub and ALL 4 through the pro box they aren't in HD, but when I stream through the smart TV app they are. any ideas if there's a work around this?

No work around, even if you subscribe at £4.99 per month direct with itv and 4 on the BT box they are still SD.

Itv is only HD on Sky and Amazon Prime, if you pay for it. All4 is HD if you subscribe through most smart tv, Amazon etc. and Sky.

My5 is HD on Sky and Samsung smart tv free.

Commercial reasons put in place by the app owners and not BT

So better to record the programme live on C4 to watch it later in HD then?

My Samsung has All 4 and ITV X both in HD and I dont subscribe to either.

So depends on the tv, seems unfair to me.
