Can I watch programmes recorded on my bt tv pro box from my iPad?

It doesn’t answer what I want to ask, I may not have made myself clear.

my question is, if I have a recording on my BT box and I have the BT app on my iPad can I watch the recordings from my BT box via the BT app and then on my iPad?

The accepted response on that topic does answer your query, but no you cannot recordings are only available on the box they're recorded on
