&lt;P&gt;I'd agree with&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.bt.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/214496"&gt;@NigelB72&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;. It sounds like the box is faulty. Let us know how you get on with the fault report.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>BT Box increasingly unrelaible</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Our 4K UHD box has become increasingly unreliable over&amp;nbsp; the last couple of months. We have done factory resets several times,&amp;nbsp; updated the software, turned it on and off again, checked the connections, checked the remote batteries.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Symptoms include - loss of apps - sometimes some, sometimes all; guide slow to open and respond and in the last couple of days the TV screen goes black even though the box blue light is on - there is no response to the remote even to power off.. A hard reset gets the box back on the TV but this has happened three times today. The TV works direct from the aerial.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Two and a bit hours after the previous black screen, it happened again. This time, pressing the remote power switch took it the the YOUVIEW starting screen but after a few seconds has gone black again. Blue light is on, remote once again not working.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It sounds like it's on its way out. If you have an active BT TV subscription, report it as a fault and they'll replace the box for you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The online help also decided it was faulty, so a new box was sent - arrived in 24 hours.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, it seems a bit more sensitive to our poor signal quality. Hopefully things will settle.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
