BT Pro no surround?

I have just taken out Entertainment package with Netflix plus HD. Also upped my BB and signed up for another 24 months.

Everything arrived today so connected to my LG TV. Great picture checked sound turned on surround and then connected to my Denon surround system. No surround! unless I am doing something wrong?

All good on Netflix and Amazon Prime. Now tv and bt tv is just stereo is this the way it is? Very impressed with the equipment sent to me with the BT Halo package.

You need the NowTV HD Boost for 5.1 on NowTV

Hi Thanks. What about Freeview channels? would it show Surround if a programme was playing in that format?

@MitoMan some Freeview channels do broadcast the occasional program in 5.1 but it's very rare because of the bandwidth needed.

@MitoMan Also, Netflix, Prime & Disney plus out Atmos but NowTV is only Dolby 5.1...
