I'm sorry to see you're having problems with your BT TV box since the thunderstorm. I'm not sure it's the box if the replacement isn't working either, can you advise what &lt;A href="https://www.bt.com/help/tv/learn-about-tv/bt-tv-boxes" target="_blank"&gt;model of box&lt;/A&gt; you have and how is it connected to the internet? Wireless, ethernet cable or powerline adapters?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Only the Pro boxes have wireless capability and there's no need to split channels.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>BT Box won't connect to router</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;After a thunder storm our You View Box wouldn't connect to the internet. We have purchased a new box and it will not connect, it keeps saying check the connection between the box and the router. We have done so, used factory reset.&amp;nbsp; Tried to connect manually won't connect.&amp;nbsp; We have bothe 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz I read somewhere that you need to split but I don't know how to.&amp;nbsp; Any suggestions please.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
