New user to BT TV

hi am new to BT TV.

I have 4 questions.

Can I add apps to BT TV?

How did I get Discovery plus?

Can I access my sky store films on BT TV?

Why can I only record 2 programs when the booklet says I can record 4?

You can't add apps to BT TV but more may be added in the future so keep an eye out

You can activate your discovery plus at https://www.bt.com/sport/discovery-plus but you will need to access it through another device at present

You can't access films on sky store but you can do this through a Roku device

It looks like you have set your BT TV Pro up in IP mode, you would need to reset it through the settings menu with an ariael plugged in to record 4 channels at once

I dont know how to reset my BT Pro up . It was done by the engineer who put my broadband in.

Where can I get simple instructions please?

Press on the blue home button on your remote

Go to the cog image on the top right hand side and press ok

Go to the bottom of the settings menu and press on factory reset

Connect your ariael to the rear of your BT TV Pro box and click on reset on your screen.

When it reboots click on ariael mode

Follow the other on screen prompts to reset

You will loose quite a few HD channels in aerial mode (ITV2 ITV3 ITV4, and the Channel 5 bouquet of extra channels, providing you have an aerial of course). You will gain extra channels as well, but in SD only.
