Currently ITV X I believe offers only SD quality and no live or FAST channel streaming on the Bt Tv box Pro and there seem to have been no improvements since it’s launch.

We have just seen the discovery + app launch on the BT Tv Box Pro and its has live channels with quality upto to 4K .

can we expect to see some upgrades to ITV X player to at least bring its quality up to HD and ideally the FAST channels introduced.

As Youview has closed its user community and support routes can BT enquire what is going on here and why there seems so little progress,

I think because ITV is a commercial network, they're required under their license to make their app compatible across all Youview boxes so they have to make it fit the older generation ones and they're just far too lazy or incompetent to release multiple versions.
