Discovery channel

Hello,

I have just signed back up to bt tv again. I had horrible issues last summer with channels not working due to local exchange issues which never got sorted and I cancelled.

however I’m happy to say that I signed up today. Had my old bt tv box so plugged it in and all the usual channels now work. 🙂

The only one I have issues with is the discovery channel. It asks me to setup the channel to add to the package but then says sorry there’s been a problem. Give the code BTP-11178 and states to bt number to order a new package.

any ideas?

What tv package do you have? The message is similar for channels not in your package.

Big sport package. With hd, multiroom and sky movies and entertainment as bolt ons

BT only offer the Discovery channel in Entertainment, Big Entertainment and VIP TV packs.

As you have Big Sports you do get discovery+ premium pack so Discovery would be available on the discovery+ app. (the app is now available on the BT Tv Pro Box),

Discovery is not in Now entertainment membership which is why you don’t get it with a (Now) membership addon.

Thanks. That will be why then lol.

just ready discovery when I placed the order. I do think it should be included in all subs though. I technically sub to all the main packs and now get all channels apart from this one
