ITVX from backwards EPG

I seem to be experiencing an issue when launching ITV X from the (backwards) BT Tv PrO EPG this morning.

ie select a programme that has been previously aired on an ITV Channel from a previous days EPG and it should launch and play the programme on the (albeit limited SD) ITV X player.

I tried a few programmes from the CITV backwards EPG and also Just morning from the main ITV channel and seem to have ITV X launch but I am not getting the programming or indeed the initial ads to play.

If using the ITV app directly and searching for the programming they do play.

Is this a common experience ?

I experienced that a couple of weeks ago on ITV3 so I think it's widespread.

ITVx on YouView seems very clunky and it's a lottery if it works as expected
