Sorry you're having problems with your remote. Have you tried changing the batteries? Which set top box do you have? What have to tried to resolve this?

Thanks for your reply David.

I have a Pro Box and have tried unplugging and then back on.

Tried reloading BT app.

Tried turning it all off from MY BT..

The remote will put app on and off and also mute the sound, so I assume that the battery is OK.

Any ideas?

18 months and it was working OK on Friday.

Did you factory reset your BT TV Pro box @mikeinlyme ? It sounds like it just needs to pair itself to your box again (the power button would continue to work even when not paired).

Press the Home and 9 buttons at the same time.
Hold down the buttons until the LED around the BT icon flashes purple three times.

Thanks Darren, I think my box is Kaput as it gives no picture on TV.
One day all is OK and then nothing.
I held down 9 and home until 3 flashes, but nothing.
Woe is me.

Hi Darren, the fault was that the HDMI socket on the TV that the bt box was plugged in to was faulty!
Very rare I am told, the TV is a Samsung smart tv and is less than 2 years old.
Now plugged into spare socket ( there are 4) and all OK.
